HO WEST DCE CONTINUES WITH FOURTH QUARTER COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND CLEAN-UP EXERCISE.

On 12th October 2022, the District Chief Executive of Ho West, Honourable Ernest Victor Apau together with Honourable Assembly Members of Kpedze, the District Environmental Health Officer and his team and members of the community embarked on a clean up exercise at the Kpedze slaughter house and the market.

Some of the cleaning exercises were weeding, distilling of gutters, sweeping and picking of rubbish.

In his brief address, the DCE said that the exercise will continue on Friday 14th October, 2022 at Kpoeta Ashanti while Tsito, Dededo and Abutia Kissifli will be observed next week. 

Hon. Apau hinted that 30 communities are been targeted for DCE community engagement this quarter. He added that there will be presentation of assembly’s programs and projects in selected communities on progress made. He encouraged the communities to make more inputs when the team visit their community.

The DCE also admonished motorists to desist from dumping solid waste along the highways. The District Environmental Health Officer, Mr. Daniel Kumah noted that keeping our environment clean is a shared responsibility hence all hands must be on deck to ensure a clean Ho West.
